Vermont American 23457 Hinge Mort Template Set
With a little patience, and little practice this template works perfectly. For $10 you can't beat it. I did replace the included nails with some double headed nails, but otherwise the template is good to go. I used this to replace 9 interior door slabs, after about 5 practice cuts (setting up depth etc.) I was ready to go and flew through the doors.

Template is only good for 1/4" radius hinges, not 5/8" radius. Most hinges today are 5/8". Product description is misleading--doesn't tell you the 5/8" bushing produces a 1/4" radius hinge mortise. Worked fine for making 1/4" radius--used fine thread drywall screws instead of nails.
