This door wedge keeps my classroom door open, with no trouble. As it is a heavy, metal door, I would say this is a pretty sturdy door wedge. It has a magnet on the back, which I use to stick it on to the door, at the end of the day. (This greatly increases my chances of finding it, the next morning.) Money well-spent.
