I have purchased 6 of these back in 2008 for my use in my house and as of at present only three stay operating. The other people stopped working given that the fingerprint sensor degraded more than time and now requirements to be replaced, but of course the 1 year warranty has expired.
Also the programming is a somewhat convoluted in that the steps demand a pressing of keys in a particular sequence that are quickly subject to creating errors rather than comfort.
So the thought is good and it did operate nicely for about year but the fingerprint sensor is not durable so the lock is basically useless following a year. Way too considerably cash for a product that has a 50% likelihood of failing following a year!
I bought two of this goods, 1 left sided and the other correct sided. In general I am rather happy with both of them. A single of them, the suitable side a single, has much better recognition. I have 7 persons using them and they are operating fine. In the correct sided a single, some times you get 1 or two misses but 70% of the time you get in on the first attempt. On the left sided one particular I have to attempt 2 or 3 instances on 70% of the times. I don't know why this difference. Even so, this is far greater than giving keys to 7 persons for two doors with the added price of altering the lock if a single quits or looses its essential.
